The Fire District provides 24 hour response for emergencies. Fire District Personnel respond to all types of incidents including, but not limited to: wildland fires, structure fires, medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, alarms sounding, technical rescue, hazardous materials, and public service assists. The district is involved with mutual aid within the local area as well as statewide through the Office of Emergency Services (OES).
The district also supports these efforts with fire prevention and public education programs, as well as on-going training for all Department staff.
Vacaville Fire Protection District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Vacaville Fire Protection District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
